JOLIET - The Glass Slipper Project, a non-profit organization founded in Chicago, has been around since 1999. The intent is to give away hundreds of dog prom dresses and accessories to high school students every spring.

In the end, Norgren and Pasieka were able to gather 60-plus dresses to be donated. Norgren, who also attended prom, understood how beneficial the project is for such a special event in a teenager's life.
